Hey guys! I’m SO sorry I have not posted anything lately, but we have been very busy with our ministry work, and I have not been great at devoting time to do this!! Hopefully I will get in more of a schedule soon:) I have been working with an organization called Beats and Books. It is an after school program that teaches kids (8-18 year olds) basic literacy, grammar, and math. It also teaches kids how to play instruments, such as the violin, drums, guitar, and piano. I get the really cool opportunity to experience worship practice where the kids use their skills to praise Jesus together. It is so encouraging to see such a young group of kids worshipping as a group. This experience has definitely been pushing me (especially when I have to teach the 18 year olds), but it has been so good. I have started to form really strong bonds with these kids, and I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for them. Every day I learn from their joy, gratitude, discipline, and heart posture, and I am truly blessed to be able to work with them at this organization. God is good!
